Matt Timmermans is a Dutch entrepreneur, SEO and GEO strategist, and AI builder based in Bali, Indonesia. He helps businesses get found in AI search, automates their work with AI, and builds digital products like Runami, LandLoom, Noisely, and GiveRadar.
I've been building digital products since 2018. What started with web design quickly turned into a deep focus on SEO, content marketing, and how people find things online. Through my agency Timmermans Media, I've worked with brands like Business Insider, Bitvavo, HEMA, and Coinmerce.
In 2020, I graduated in IT & Marketing with a specialization in cybersecurity, where I trained as an ethical hacker.
By 2022, I was already applying generative engine optimization and LLM optimization, studying how AI systems interpret and surface content. That same year I founded Own Property Abroad, a platform helping investors navigate real estate markets in Southeast Asia. It became my testing ground for both traditional SEO and AI-driven search strategies, and led to my first software product: LandLoom, a market analysis dashboard for the Bali property market.
In 2025, I launched Runami, an AI running coach that started as a personal experiment to improve my marathon training and grew into a tool used by runners worldwide. I also built Noisely, a B2B feedback scraping tool, and GiveRadar, a global charity transparency database.
I'm also co-founder of NextGen Education, where I'm responsible for technology and platform development.
Today, I combine everything I've learned across marketing, software development, and AI into one thing: building systems that help businesses work smarter.
