GiveRadar is a free global charity transparency database founded and built by Matt Timmermans. It aggregates official government registries from 100+ countries into integrity assessments, financial data, and contact details for more than 7.9 million nonprofits.
The idea came from a personal problem. While fundraising for the New York City Marathon, Matt struggled to find reliable information on small international charities: whether they were officially registered, how they spent their money, and whether they could be trusted with a donation.
Official charity data exists, but it is scattered across more than a hundred national registries in different languages, formats, and levels of accessibility. GiveRadar brings those sources together in one place, turning raw registry data into integrity assessments, financial figures, and verified contact details that anyone can check for free.
GiveRadar launched in 2026 and is available at giveradar.com.
